Jamaica Queen Airlines Limited (JQA) have made a final decision to select Jamaica as the number one Caribbean destination for a new airline based upon the results of the feasibility study report and other researches conducted over a period of time. Therefore, Jamaica Queen Airlines continue to monitor the market and participate in on-going studies with the most current information available within the region and the industry that shows viability to invest in a new airline in Jamaica. 

On May 3, 2013, Jamaica Queen Airlines Limited was formed in Kingston, Jamaica with a purpose of providing a scheduled air carrier operations, providing economic benefits by; keeping money in the country, providing means of employment to the citizens and increase the access of an ease to travel that would in turn increase foreign exchange. The airline will also be providing productivity benefits for government officials, businesses, tourist and leisure travelers by providing safety, dependability, majestic services and demonstrate as the most reliable carrier in the region for on-time departures and arrivals.

JQA intend to use an adequate number of aircraft from the Airbus family upon entry into new service, followed by the addition of Embraer fleet to meet the demand and prevent any disruption of service due to maintenance issues that will inconvenience our customers and leave them stranded.
